About Ridgway Railroad Museum

We are an educational museum dedicated to preserving and explaining the railroad heritage of Ouray County and the San Juan mountains. Our exhibits include rolling stock, photographs, artifacts and an operating recreation of R.G.S. Motor No. 1, predecessor of the famous "Galloping Geese".
