Weehawken Creative Arts
For over 15 years, Weehawken Creative Arts has been transforming the lives of adults and children through our arts education, dance program, and beloved cultural events.
WCA offers arts and cultural classes to adults and children in the subjects of: fine arts, fiber arts, photography, craftsman arts, creative writing, culinary arts, horticulture & gardening, topics tied to the creative process, topics tied to personal growth, languages, music, theater, movement arts, the “business” of art (or being a professional creative), and of course: dance (including hip hop, ballet, tap, jazz and aerial).
Outside of classes, we coordinate and organize a multitude of events and programs each year including: The Ridgway Rendezvous Arts and Crafts Festival, 3 major productions for Weehawken Dance (February, April, December), the Annual Gingerbread House Workshops, The Sneffels Fiber Arts Festival, The Annual Amateur Sculpting Contest in Ridgway, and over 6 children’s theatre productions annually.
