Collaborative Hand-Printed Cotton Shoulder Bags
Are you ready to have some fun and learn a new skill? Join Ouida Touchon in this enganging workshop where you'll design and carve your own small block to print onto cotton shoulder bags. The collaborative twist? After you print your design, you'll pass your block to classmates, and they’ll do the same—carve, print, pass around, and print again—creating a shared artistic experience.
Each block will be consistent in size, and a selection of designs will be available for use. The finished bags will feature any number and unique blend of printed blocks, ensuring each one will be one of a kind.
You'll have access to a hand press called a Woodzilla for your use to collaborate and print a number of cotton bags in random designs using the blocks you create.
All supplies, tools, and cotton bags will be provided. Bring your apron and plan to get your hands dirty!
