A storytelling journey through Ridgway's past, led by local historian Joan Chismire. Juxtaposing archival photographs with Emma Kalff's contemporary paintings of the same locations, Joan brings to life the people, places, and stories that shaped Ridgway, CO. Free to attend. Refreshments will be provided. This event is part of Emma Kalff's solo show "Portraits of Ridgway" - a series of 30 paintings of beloved Ridgway scenes, each painted on location as a way of preserving the town as it exists today. All 30 paintings will be available for viewing from July 4th-August 29th at the Decker Room in Ridgway, CO.
