Thursday After School Art for ages 5-8

Young artists will explore a variety of Christmas-themed projects, including creating mixed-media reindeer wall hangings, Sanna Annukka-inspired acrylic reindeer paintings, and metal-embossed ornaments! Our ongoing after-school classes provide a diverse range of art materials and techniques, sparking creativity through age-appropriate art projects such as chalk and oil pastel drawings, acrylic and watercolor painting, sculpting, printmaking, and mixed-media exploration. Artists in this art class develop: Artistic skills & craftsmanship Self esteem & social – emotional skills Self expression, creativity & imagination! * This class is a drop-off class. Ms. Claudia meets her students at the elementary school preschool/kindergarten gate at 3:00pm and escorts them to the Cora classroom. Parents who drop off their children can meet the group at the Cora classroom at 3:15pm. * Should your child have any special needs please contact before class to ensure that your child will have a fun time. * Voyager add-on option: Voyager teachers will meet and escort students after art class and provide after school care from 4:30pm-5:30pm. Parents pick up their children at Voyager at 280 N Cora Street. Cost:$60 for the 3 week session OR $75 with the Voyager add-on option.
