Alpine Bank branches seem to be in many mountain towns. Why is that?
Alpine Bank originally started in the small mountain town of Carbondale and has since expanded across the Western Slope. We are currently growing on the Front Range with our newest location in Fort Collins opening this year.
What is the business philosophy of Alpine Bank?
Our mission is to help our customers, employees, shareholders, and community members achieve their dreams.
Please tell us a little bit about your local staff.
Our Ridgway/Ouray team members range from local veterans who grew up in the area to newcomers that call Ouray County home. You can often see our Ouray County staff out and about contributing and playing in our backyard.
In addition to Ridgway, where can people find Alpine Banks?
From summits to city centers, 38 Alpine Bank branches are located all across the state. Within the San Juan Mountain region, we have locations in Delta, Montrose, Ridgway, Ouray, Telluride, and Durango.
What do you wish more people knew about Alpine Bank?
Our employees are also our owners. Like you, social and environmental responsibility are important to us. Our commitment to the communities we serve is what drives us every day.
Do you have any news to share such as new programs or events for the holidays or this winter?
Alpine Bank Ouray County is matching $10,000 in donations to help Ouray Mountain Rescue Team transform a rescue vehicle with the tools it needs for future rescues. We are able to match these funds and provide other donations to local organizations because of our Loyalty Debit Card program, where we give back 10 cents every time a customer uses their debit card.
What do you value from being a Ridgway Chamber member?
We are grateful for the chamber’s continued support, and all they do for our town. We value their expertise and commitment with all of the varied businesses in our community.
