Dr. Chris Poe and Misti Poe own the business. The River Peak Dental team includes Misti as office manager, Shelby as treatment coordinator, Ahren and Claire as hygienists, and Lori and Maddison as dental assistants.

When and why did the business open in Ridgway?
River Peak Dental opened Nov 9, 2016 in Ridgway. Dr. Poe wanted to offer everything dental for our mountain communities in one convenient local place close to home. The business offers everything from the most complex cosmetic smile makeovers, full-mouth tooth replacement options, same-day crowns, all surgery needs, IV sedation, implants, and more. It’s very rare that River Peak cannot take care of whatever is needed, under our roof in the most technologically advanced way possible.

We have all the modern technological goodies that expand our capabilities and treatment options for our patients, from our 3D CT imaging, all digital everything to fully computer guided surgery and implant placement, our in-office CNC machine for making same-day crowns and surgical guides, lasers, 3D oral impression scanner, and certified IV sedation. We don’t refer anything out – we do everything and do it quickly.
