Ridgway Chamber Thanks Volunteers

Without volunteers, the Ridgway Area Chamber of Commerce could not accomplish its important work of welcoming and sharing information with visitors.

More than 15 volunteers staff the Ridgway Visitors Center throughout the month, acting as ambassadors for our town and the wonderful tourism resources in the area. Another 10 volunteers help organize and lead the True Grit tours, showing off the historic landmarks featured in the popular western movie. The Ridgway Chamber board showed its appreciation for the volunteers on Sept. 5, with a dinner catered by Honga Im, hosted by the Ouray County 4H Events Center and organized by RACC Program Coordinator Pamela Cannalte.
