2021 Ridgway Youth Volunteer & Career Fair

Connecting Ridgway students with real-world experiences at local businesses and nonprofits

The Ridgway Secondary School, 1200 Green St., Ridgway, CO 81432, will host a youth summer job and volunteering fair from 11 a.m. to 12 noon on Wednesday, April 21, where 20 or more local nonprofit organizations and businesses will be able to meet 8th through 12th graders.

The purpose of the fair is for companies and nonprofits to introduce local youth to jobs, internships and volunteer assignments, as well as share information about their business and nonprofit missions. Each company or organization will be provided with two chairs for their representatives, a table to set their information on, and one hour to interact with students.

You are encouraged to bring displays, banners, brochures, signup sheets, and whatever will fit on or around the table to help you share your message with students and get them excited about working or volunteering for you. We are expecting around 120 students will attend the fair.

This event is co-sponsored by the Ridgway Area Chamber of Commerce. Please register for fair participation by April 12. Businesses and nonprofits that are not chamber members will pay a fee of $20, while the Ridgway Chamber will pay the fee for all chamber members. Get information about chamber membership.

Thank you for being a part of what makes our community a great place to live and visit! We look forward to seeing you at the 2021 Ridgway Youth Volunteer & Career Fair.
