Ridgway Creative District
Walking through the town of Ridgway, you will see the unique and lively arts-related assets, which have earned the town a Creative District designation. Creative Districts are defined areas that include arts and cultural assets and nonprofit as well as for-profit creative businesses, usually within easy walking distances.
Our trails, parks and alleys feature locally made sculptures, murals and public art. Discover the 11 amazing sculptures scattered throughout the Town of Ridgway, and experience the joy of finding more hidden gems on your own… Look for “Brandy” the St. Bernard, a sneaky red fox, and three eagles of varying sizes including the larger than life, 21-foot wing span of the American Bald eagle that graces the Weaver Memorial Park.
Ridgway’s shops and galleries are also filled with one-of a-kind items made right here in Ridgway. We hope you will take the time to explore and enjoy our artistic town.
